 Welcome To The Black Parade
When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"
He said
"Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers,
the plans that they have made?" Because one day I leave you, A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade." When I was a young boy, My father took me into the city To see a marching band. He said, "Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken, The beaten and the damned?" Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me. And other times I feel like I should go. Through it all,
the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets. When you're gone we want you all to know We'll Carry on, We'll Carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on Carry on We'll carry on And in my heart I cant contain it The anthem wont explain it. And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams Your misery and hate will kill us all So paint it black and take it back Lets shout it loud and clear Do you fight it to the end We hear the call to To carry on We'll carry on Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on We'll carry on And though you're broken and defeated You're weary
widow marches on And on we carry through the fears Ooh oh ohhhh Disappointed faces of your peers Ooh oh ohhhh
Take a look at me cause I could not care at all Do or die You'll never make me Cause the world, will never take my heart You can try, you'll never break me Want it all, I'm gonna play this part Wont explain or say i'm sorry I'm not ashamed, I'm gonna show my scar You're the chair, for all the broken Listen here,
because it's only.. I'm just a man, I'm not a hero Just a boy, who's meant to sing this song Just a man, I'm not a hero I -- don't -- care
Carry on We'll carry on Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on We'll carry on And though you're broken and defeated You're weary
widow marches on We'll carry on
We'll carry on We'll carry on We'll carry We'll carry on

Arms Wide Open
By: Creed

Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is going to change
I closed my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
With arms wide open
Well I don't know if I'm ready
To be the man I have to be
I'll take a breath, I'll take her by my side
We stand in awe, we've created life
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
Now everything has changed
I'll show you love
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
With arms wide open
I'll show you everything ...oh yeah
With arms wide open..wide open
[Guitar Break]
If I had just one wish
Only one demand
I hope he's not like me
I hope he understands
That he can take this life
And hold it by the hand
And he can greet the world
With arms wide open...
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
Now everything has changed
I'll show you love
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
With arms wide open
I'll show you everything..oh yeah
With arms wide open....wide open

Today was completely emotionally draining. And the funeral was only half of it.  It was so hard to be sitting there actually letting it sink in that Brody is really gone.  I talked to his fiance, we cried together, i held the baby and just thought how horrible the entire situation is.  I'm happy his fiance has promised that Regan (Brody's baby) will always be a part of our lives and we're welcome to see him anytime. It was also really hard being at the funeral when none of the family knew me.  I was a really good friend, but had only met brody's dad once before.. spending most of my time with his mom.  I really happy that Tony was there... especially since the hardest part of the day happened on the way to the funeral....

Driving to the funeral (2 hours out of town) we passed a car turned upside down in the ditch and in the deep snow.  There was another car stopped, and they were on cell phones and we could see the lights of the approaching cop car. So we kept going.  I thought that the situation was under control and that there was nothing I could do... my sisters had been looking out the window and didn't recognize anyone... there was just the guy on the phone that had his back turned.  Now if i hadn't been in my own little world, worrying about the funeral and trying to be carefull driving,  and if I had really taken a good look, i would have realized that the guy on the phone, who had just moments earlier dug himself out of the car, was Al... he was on the way to his funeral to be one of the pallbearers.  Al is also the closest guy friend I have. Him, Brody and I were the Sudbury trouble gang... Al learnt to snowboard so i'd have someone to drag to the hills. And Al was the one who had called me sunday to let me know about Brody.  He has been organizing everything from this end, and I had been asking him to not drive and to come with us, but he refused.  To think that I came so close to loosing another friend just finished me.  I have been crying on and off all day, and all I wanted was the boys to come over.  I just needed to see them all and make sure they were all okay.  Then I get bad news number three....

I just got off the phone with the boys.. they decided not to make the trip up from Ottawa becasue of the weather.  I am happy that I don't have to worry about them driving, but I am so sad that i don't get to see the 4 of them.  I need to see them, as it has been years since i have seen Travis, and although i have seen Kyle last week, and Scott and Andre over the summer.. it isn't enough.  It's horrible that something like this made us all realize how much we miss each other, but i'm happy that everyone tried their best to see each other, and i'm happy the guys have gotten used to me crying on the phone.  i don't know how i'm going to make it through this week, but I know that in time it'll all get better....

wow, i'm one sensitive chick.. i never realised it! haha

My Blog: Oh, Canada
By: heart_core

#4

Welcome to Canada, it's the maple leaf state.
Canada, oh, Canada, it's great.
The people are nice there, they speak French too.
If you don't like it man, you sniff glue.
The great white north, their kilts are plaid.
Hosers take off, it's not that bad.

I want to be where yaks can run free,
Where the Royal Mounties can arrest me.

Let's go to Canada,
Let's leave today.
Canada, oh Canada,
I s'il vous plait

They've got trees and mooses and sled dogs.
Lots of lumber and lumberjack's and logs!
You may think that's kind of a drag,
but you have to go there to get milk in a bag.
They say eh? instead of what or duh.
That's the mighty power of Canada.

I want to be where lemmings run into the sea.
Where the marmosets can attack me.

Let's go to Canada,
Let's leave today.
Canada, oh Canada,
I s'il vous plait

Let's go to Canada,
Let's leave today.
Canada, oh Canada,
I s'il vous plait

Please, please explain to me,
How this all has come to be.
We forgot to mention something here.
Did we say that William Shatner is a native citizen,
and slurpees made from venison,
that's deer!

Let's go to Canada,
Let's leave today.
Canada, oh Canada,
I s'il vous plait

Let's go to Canada,
Let's leave today.
Canada, oh Canada,
I s'il vous plait
